An Abridged WoW Horde Guide

WOW Horde GuideWoW Horde Guide presents an abridged overview on one of the most powerful factions of the mortal races in Azeroth. The Horde, known also as Orcish Horde or New Horde, has been the fiercest rival of The Alliance. As time went on, the Horde’s policies, ideals, and beliefs changed significantly.

Long ago, they referred Horde as Orcs and its battle enchantments from Azeroth and Draenor. The Horde was defeated at the end of the Second War and its great influence shattered. This gave Thrall the opportunity to rouse the quite mysticism of his blood brothers and free them from the Burning Legion’s control.

Thrall made a lifelong friendship with Cairne Bloodhoof, the tauren chief, and the troll shadowhunter Vol’jin of the Darkspear Clan. This formed a bond between the three races as they commonly shared many cultural orientations. This legion of orcs, trolls, and taurens established their domain in Kalimdor.

The Horde is a more centralized union than the Alliance. Thrall is the undisputed kingpin and Warchief of the Horde. He reigns over the Darkspear Trolls and tauren tribes but treats fellow racial leaders equal to his power. The Horde is equal in size with the Alliance but also has its own twists and turns.

The Horde’s five primary races include orcs, blood elves, tauren, undead, and trolls that have myriad of friends among the races in Azeroth as written in WoW Horde Guide. These include the Stonemaul Ogres, the Revantusk forest trolls of the Hinterlands, and other characters such as Mok’Nathal beastmaster Rexxar.

In spite of their grotesque appearance and size, most of the Hordes are not evil in nature as compared with the Alliance comprised of various factions and individualistic values and virtues.

There are two distinct Horde factions: the Horde of Kalimdor and the Eastern Horde. The Horde of Kalimdor lives mostly in Kalimdor and respect the leadership of Thrall. This group under Thrall’s leadership includes the Darkspear trolls, the Orcs, the Taurens, and some ogres. They are bonded by Thrall’s Shamanistic culture, honor, and leadership is their hero and acknowledged leader. This Horde is the consequence of the events in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.

The Eastern Horde is composed of the blood elves, the Forsaken, the Grimtotem taurens, and the evil orcs of the Dark Horde. Most of them are part of the Dark Horde under Rend Blackhand as their warchief and major dissident to Thrall’s leadership.

This squabble between the Hordes arose from the union formed (under Thrall’s leadership) with the Alliance to assist in preventing the destruction of the world. The other Horde faction under Rend Blackhand felt that Thrall betrayed the Horde by allying with humans.

The Horde may seem to be a formidable force and an unstoppable juggernaut but they have their own weaknesses. They consider savagery as the Hordes greatest weakness according to the WoW Horde Guide.

As an entire group, the Horde is a unit of primitive savages bound by extreme circumstances. They always assert their might with their fists and easily fall into deception, thru inciting rages in war band, by jumping into combat without thinking of the ambush laid against them.

Another weakness of the Horde is their dwindling numbers as they are a formidable force in greater numbers. The Horde also lacks technological advancement since the goblins left them.

The Hordes strength emanates from their physical attributes. Without a weapon on hand, Hordes can physically overwhelm the Alliance by their sheer strength.

This WoW Horde Guide is only an impression of the individuality and uniqueness of the Horde alliance.
